You play as a mech pilot who just defeated a giant alien monster, but in the process became infected by the alien virus, and your mech was totaled and sank to the bottom of the ocean. You must dive into the wreckage to find the mech's core and overload it to blow up yourself and any remaining alien goo, while managing oxygen and gathering antidotes to extend how long you have until you turn into a monster yourself.
